Super City Means Super Car Insurance
Whenever I visit New York City I am astounded by the sheer size of it. Boston is a big enough city as it is, and I grew up just outside of it, but the skyscrapers and number of people in New York City is impressive and a bit overwhelming for first time visitors.
So I was sure in for a shock when I discovered that China is planning to merge 9 cities outside of Hong Kong to create a mega city! This city would include 42 million people, which is more than twice as many people in New York City. Moreover, the city would span 16,000 square miles, that’s more than 1.5 times the size of Massachusetts!
Additionally, this mega city does not include Hong Kong, which will border the mega city and is the home of over 7 million people. This ambitious project will undoubtedly be well documented and watched by the world to see if this undertaking can be successful.
Although this will be coined as a mega city, skyscrapers will not cover every square mile of land, however many railways and road will be created to make these current cities expertly interconnected.
Traffic will hopefully flow better as well. Last year China experienced a traffic jam that lasted an astounding 9 days! Next time you are on your commute to work, realize that it could be worse.
