What Do You Know About Your Car or Your Car Insurance Policy?
Most men have an unusual relationship with their cars. It could be the nostalgia; it could be the power; all I know is that, as a woman, I am not sure that I understand it at all. However, I have an inference: most men
like cars more than most women like cars because most men understand cars more than most women (exceptions to every rule, of course). So, in a frightening attempt to enter just a portion of the male psyche, I started to do some research and get to know my car better. Though I doubt it will revolutionize the relationship I have with my Jetta, the information was interesting enough to share. Here are some facts, courtesy of Chevron Cars.com that car lovers and merely car drivers alike can appreciate:
- The first cars did not have steering wheels. Driver steered with a lever.
- The first speeding ticket was issued in 1902.
- In 1916, 55 percent of the cars in the world were Model T Fords, a record that has never been beaten.
- Most American car horns beep in the key of F.
- The automobile is the most recycled consumer product in the world today.
