Shopping is hard to avoid this time of year, but it can be enjoyable if you check out this list of the best and worst buys of December:

Decorations – When’s the best time to save on Holiday decorations? Right after the holiday! If you stock up for next year you can manage up to 70% savings!
Jewelry – you’ll be likely to find the same piece of jewelry on sale in the next few months. December is not friendly to jewelry buyers.
Electronics – If you can wait until next year’s models come out (usually in January), you’ll see big savings on the

Toys and tools – the year’s top toys and tools will be on sale during December. However, if you wait too close to the holidays, retailers will jack back up the price because they know you’ll have less time to comparison shop.
Free gift cards – too good to be true? Not at this time of year. Look out for deals that offer something like a free $10 gift card with a purchase of $50 or more or even a $20 gift card if you buy one as a gift. Who doesn’t like free money?
