Superbowl Party Must-Haves

Homeowners Insurance New Jersey

Are you having a Superbowl Party Sunday? If you aren’t a 49ers or Ravens fan you may not be as excited about watching the Superbowl, but there’s still fun to be had. If you’re anything like me, one of your favorite parts about watching football is the food. Why not use it as occasion to get together and enjoy some food (and drinks) with your friends, even if your team didn’t make the cut. Besides, there’s still sure to be some commercials to get you laughing and if anyone can bring a fun halftime show performance it’s Beyonce!

Now that I have convinced you it’s a good idea to have your friends come over to watch the game, I’ll also help you out with some party tips. First, as your insurance agency, I should remind you that if your guests will be drinking, make sure they aren’t driving! Did you know that if they leave your house drunk and get in an accident you can be liable? Make sure you have enough liability coverage on your New Jersey Home Insurance policy. Concerned about your liability coverage on your home and auto insurance not being enough? Call our agents and ask about a New Jersey Umbrella Insurance policy. You won’t believe how affordable extra liability coverage is!

Once you have the coverage you need for your Superbowl Bash, here are some must-haves for your party:

  • Great, football-loving friends make the party that much more fun. Even if your team isn’t in the big game, this can really up the excitement.
  • Great, easy to eat food is also a must. Make sure everything you prepare can be eaten quickly for those in between moments in the game. A couple of healthy dishes are great for some options, but remember the must-haves like classic dips and wings!
  • Make sure you have plenty of seats. Last weekend, my family brought an extra couch into our living room just so everyone would have a comfortable spot. The living room didn’t look its best, but everyone was happy!
  • A great TV goes without say, right? A pretty large, HD TV is a must for you and your guests to enjoy all the Superbowl game will have to offer. Just a heads up, surround sound doesn’t hurt.
