Much like social media, the best part about blogging is the potential for interaction. When you post a blog that is engaging and entertaining, your readers want to comment and discuss it with you. This is very exciting as a writer and gives you the opportunity to build relationships and potentially have those people become new business prospects. Unfortunately, monitoring these comments is often times just another venue that you have to keep a watchful eye on and that can take up time. Google+ just announced they will allow you to bring your Google+ comments to your Blogger blog.

This feature would give you the ability to comment and discuss your content with not just direct blog
commenters, but also people talking about your blog on Google+. It also gives commenters more options. They can share privately or publicly with their circles which could help your blog get more exposure. The great thing about this is that it makes things easier for you and your commenters, encouraging them to comment and share more. Talk about a win-win situation.

Let’s face it, as marketers we have a lot to monitor so for me just the idea of combining two things in one place is appealing. If you want to enable Google+ Comments, just visit the Google+ tab of your Blogger Dashboard, and check “Use Google+ Comments.” Do you have any advice on monitoring blog comments? We’d love to hear them!
