What bad thing can you say about vacation? Maybe just that there is not enough of it! One of the most stressful parts of the process is picking a location. Izu Islands – This destination is not a resort area, despite what the name would suggest. This island chain is set atop a group of active volcanoes. These toxic fumes permeate to the surface and bring with them a putrid odor that holds the potential to churn the stomach of even the bravest adventurer.
Island of the Dolls – Don’t worry, this is not a cheesy kid’s movie – it is the real thing. The Island of Dolls is located outside of Mexico City and hosts an army of eerie, decrepit dolls. This southwestern attraction appears to play homage to a type of bizarre world of Santa’s workshop.
