Tractor Trailer Crashes Into Plane?!
It’s not every day you hear of a plane crashing or getting in an accident. When you do, it’s usually a tragedy or a story of a heroic pilot (Captain Sully). However, this story is one for the books.
At Logan Airport on Tuesday, a tractor-trailer clipped a plan that had just landed, according to CNN. No one was seriously injured. Although, one woman did injure her leg and had to be sent to the hospital.
I’m not quite sure what the tractor-trailer operator was thinking. Planes are easily visible, especially when you’d expect them to be on the ground around the airport. I know if it was a car, the car would surely not stand a chance – causing a totaled vehicle and a rare Connecticut car insurance claim involving both a plane and a car.
We can learn from this tractor-trailer driver though. It’s crucial to use your side and rearview mirrors to check all of your blind spots. Getting clipped by another driver or cutting someone off is a quick way to filling out CT car insurance papers. Nothing puts you more at fault when it comes to CT insurance than failure to yield or failure to use caution.
I hope that next time you depart from a plane you won’t need to look around to watch out for a tractor-trailer, but if you do you’ll at least make the news. Remember to check your blind spots and use caution on the road (or runway).
